You pulled out that one sentece of the comment and replied to it but i already said."You are right in the part tha a lot of open world games that have side quests are still open for exploration and to finish side quests and activities after you finish the main story." I'm not sure why some people have an issue with this tbh You haven't read my comment.didn't you? By reverting back to right before the final battle, it solves that issue of "Why would Aloy stay if she completed her mission". She is too curious by nature, and the Forbidden West awaits. Without spoiling the ending for those who have yet to finish the game, It wouldn't make sense for Aloy to stick around after the events of the final mission. It isn't a stupid game design at all, and makes sense. It is so that you can finish more side-quests before the main mission, which has a direct affect of potential characters you may see in said final mission. Take the Mass Effect series for example as just one of many RPGs that do this. I don't know how many games you have played, but this is a very common design choice made in these style of games. I'm not sure why some people have an issue with this tbh Moral of this comment is just that upgrading and trying to turn over every stone likely wont net you much if you are trying to go after achievements but just playing the game and progressing the story and side missions and trying to clear every activity and collectible(Again maps to find their general locations can be purchased from the general shops) will get you a lot further.Originally posted by Nihilus:But i haven't seen a single game out there which is also reseting the last story mission so you can re-do and farm it over and over again. Some other miscellaneous ones as well but these potentially would happen just through natural play or you could target certain ones such as the killing and removing parts ones if not obtained through natural story and activity progression. You shouldnt really have to look behind every stone(collectibles could maybe be found in certain areas but you can also buy maps to find their locations)Īs far as equipment there are a few but you shouldnt have to upgrade too much equipment as achievements are more related to quests(main + side in both the core game and frozen wilds) doing all activities(tallnecks, bandit camps, hunter camps, cauldrons, corrupted zones), finding all collectibles and general gameplay (discover all machines, level ups, learning all skills) Obviously it can take a lot longer though if you do a ton of just exploration and such that way. ![]() ![]() All 79 achievements in about 66 hours and know it can be done faster then that. Maybe my Problem is to look around behind every stone and level up every weapon and equipment, with every sidequest. I have a lot of fun for 200 hours without so much achievments. You have only 68 hours and 76 achievments. Thanks a lot.īut I wonder about your gameplay.
